It’s not easy surviving in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, especially when you’re a superhero. There’s definitely no shortage of villains running around and, yet, somehow, our heroes seem to keep fighting among themselves. These battles are often even more intense and emotional than the big boss fights at the end of movies! Today, we’re going to be looking at some of the most epic hero vs. hero matchups to ever take place in the MCU.

Of course, we all know about the infamous airport fight which took place in the movie Captain America: Civil War. Although it was kicked off by Tony Stark and Steve Rogers, it was a veritable who’s who of superheroes and they were all trying to take each other down. It seems like people are always either fighting with Bucky Barnes or fighting over him. Some heroes struggle to differentiate friend from foe, such as when we saw the Incredible Hulk vs. Thor in the Grandmaster’s arena from Thor: Ragnarok. We’ve also seen some super close friends locked in a fight for their lives including Black Widow and Clint Barton in Avengers: Endgame.
